While you only have good intentions in your heart doing palm tree care, there are times when mistakes are made. Out of the many mistakes that you can do with caring for your palm trees, the most common is over watering. As the case goes, when you see a handful of yellow or even brown leaves on your palm, you start giving it more water.
No matter what you do, the leaves are still turning yellow and falling off even before they’re completely dried out. Basically, this is an indication that you’re overwatering your palm. Also, the place you planted it in might not have good drainage. If you’re watering the palms only three times a week and you’re having this problem, the issue is in the soil.
The only time you should be watering your palm daily is when it’s newly planted. Other times, palm tree care will do with watering three times a week.
